Handcrafted in Alberta, Canada, the Wabamun Bench draws its name from the peaceful hamlet of Wabamun and its stunning Wabamun Lake – known in Cree as wâpamon, meaning "mirror," for its crystal-clear waters that perfectly reflect the Alberta sky.

A standout feature of this bench is its discreet side pocket – a clever "hidden cove" thoughtfully integrated into the design. Inspired by the lake's secluded bays and quiet inlets (like Moonlight Bay and Kapasiwin), it provides a convenient spot to tuck away remotes, books, magazines, or everyday essentials, keeping them close at hand yet out of sight.

The rich solid wood frame, with its natural tones and luxurious grain, echoes the lake's calm, mirroring depth. Finished in a smooth natural satin sheen (100% zero-VOC for an eco-friendly touch), it highlights the wood's warmth and durability. The seat is upholstered in genuine hair on cowhide and is permanently adhered to a sturdy base for firm, supportive comfort and lasting beauty that nods to the lake's sandy shores.
