Airdrie II Bench – Flow of Nose Creek
Handcrafted in Alberta, Canada, the Airdrie II Bench draws its name from the vibrant city of Airdrie – a fast-growing community north of Calgary with deep roots in the flowing waters of Nose Creek. This historic creek, known for its clear, ice-free flow that attracted early railway settlers and provided essential water for steam trains, shaped the very foundation of Airdrie's landscape and heritage.
A signature feature of this all-wood bench is its artistic perforated seat – a pattern of carefully placed holes that evokes the gentle ripples, flowing currents, and reflective bubbles of a prairie creek like Nose Creek winding through the open Alberta plains.
Crafted entirely from solid ash wood with its light, creamy tones and subtle grain, the bench is finished in a clear satin sheen (100% zero-VOC for an eco-friendly touch) that enhances the wood's natural beauty, strength, and smooth tactile feel while allowing the perforated design to play with light and shadow.
