Why the Most Memorable Rooms Are Not Perfectly Matched
Some rooms are beautifully coordinated yet surprisingly easy to forget. The furniture comes from the same collection. Every wood finish is identical. The fabrics repeat the same few colours, and each accessory appears to have been selected to complete a predetermined look. Nothing is technically wrong, but very little feels personal.
