The Raymond Bench draws its name and inspiration from the historic Town of Raymond, Alberta – founded in 1901 by mining entrepreneur Jesse Knight and named after his son. As the birthplace of Canada's first stampede in 1902, Raymond embodies the rugged pioneer spirit of southern Alberta, blending agricultural roots, community resilience, and a touch of Western flair that echoes through its annual rodeo traditions.

Crafted from rich solid black walnut wood, renowned for its deep tones and exceptional durability, this bench captures that enduring strength. The wood is finished in a smooth dark satin sheen (100% zero-VOC for an eco-friendly appeal), enhancing its natural grain while offering lasting protection and a luxurious feel.

The seat is upholstered in genuine cowhide "Dark Speckle"—a captivating multi-color pattern of bold blacks, warm browns, soft tans, and creamy whites. Each hide is one-of-a-kind, with its natural speckles adding organic texture and a nod to the diverse landscapes and livestock heritage of Raymond's ranching history. Wrapped securely around a solid wood core, it provides firm, supportive seating built for everyday comfort and longevity.
