Handcrafted in Alberta, Canada, the Priddis Bench is named for the historic hamlet of Priddis – a serene ranching community nestled in the rolling foothills southwest of Calgary. Known for its pioneering heritage, breathtaking Rocky Mountain views, and vibrant rural traditions (including Alberta's oldest active community hall, built in 1900), Priddis embodies the untamed yet welcoming essence of southern Alberta's ranch country.

This bench captures that wild, rugged spirit: the frame is crafted from exquisite solid sapele wood – often called African mahogany – with its deep reddish-brown hues and striking ribbon-striped grain, finished in a luxurious dark satin sheen (100% zero-VOC for an eco-friendly touch) that exudes warmth and timeless durability.

The seat is upholstered in genuine cowhide "Brown Tiger" – a dramatic multi-color pattern featuring bold blacks, rich browns, and fiery orange accents that evoke tiger-like stripes. Each hide is unique, adding fierce organic texture and a nod to the ranching wildlife heritage of the Priddis area. Adhered firmly to a solid wood base, it provides a supportive, firm seating surface built for lasting comfort.
